Become a VABI Volunteer!

In our mission to make the Venice Area a more beautiful place to live, work and play, we need people like you to volunteer and help us accomplish that mission.  VABI has numerous opportunities available.

If you're the type of physical person who likes to be outside playing in the "dirt", check out our Pepper Patrol.  They meet Wednesdays at 8am, call 941-207-8224 (VABI) to find out this week's meeting location.

If biking the Venetian Waterway Park (VWP) is more to your liking, our Trailblazer Bike Patrol might be the volunteer group for you.

Not into sweating?  VABI also has a comfortable air conditioned office located in the Venetian Trailhead Building (the old Chamber of Commerce underneath the Hatchett Creek Bridge) where we need people to answer phones and greet trail users, scrapbook our history, and help in standard office tasks like filing, shredding and computer entry.  For more information on these opportunities, call the office at 941-207-8224 (VABI) and ask for Lynn Ball, our new Volunteer Coordinator.
