For more than 20 years our mission of "Making the Venice Area a More Beautiful Place to Live, Work, and Play," has been the driving force behind the projects adopted by Venice Area Beautification, Inc. (VABI). Beginning with the gateway to Venice and downtown landscape project in 1990, to the 5 million dollar Venetian Waterway Park, the Venice Arboretum at West Blalock Park, and numerous public art projects – Venice Area Beautification, Inc. has enriched the natural environment through parks, recreational opportunities, and expanding venues for public art.

Volunteer With VABI!: Office Assistance Needed!
We are actively seeking volunteers to serve in the Venice Area Beautification, Inc. office. There are a host of activities that you can do in the comfort of our office to support VABI and the Venice community.
The volunteer office activities are easy:
1. Greet the public
2. Distribute materials
3. Sell merchandise
4. Answer telephones

Breaking Ground on Prentiss-French Park Improvements!: On September 26, 2011, contractors began grading for the installation of an asphalt walking path at Prentiss-French Park in Venice. This is the first of $20,000 in improvements to the Park, under the auspices of Venice Area Beautification, Inc. Photos to follow.
Florida Panther at West Blalock Park:: Come see the Florida Panther at West Blalock Park in Venice! Installed at the southwest corner of the park, this beautiful metal sculpture captures the essence of the noble and wily native.
Venice Area Beautification, Inc. Launches the Friends of Venice Parks program.: Are you interested in forming a chapter to support, improve, and protect your favorite Venice park? This is a new initiative for VABI, one that we are very excited about! Call our office to connect and learn more.
